Sample Essay - What Role Will Robots Play in Our Future?

It is still so uncertain what the future will bring. As time goes by, technology is not only becoming efficient but also more advanced. Technology has resulted in the realization of self-driving cars as well as smart houses and the use of face recognition to pay bills. Soon enough, everything concerning human to human interaction will be faced out due to such innovations.  In most developed countries, engineers and scientists are working hard to create robots that will perform the same duties humans have been performing before. As weird as it seems robots will play a significant role in the future.

The use of robots is continuously making an impact in the business paradigms both directly and indirectly (Healy et al. 160). The interaction of robots in the business world does enhance not only the product’s quality but also make it productive as well as commercial. The mode of business has also changed from the traditional methods to the most advanced cutting-edge trends. Therefore, if you integrate robots in these trends, the business will grow in a fast-paced manner. The good thing with robots is that they can be programmed to work all day and night and can work alongside humans and even replace them (Healy et al. 161).

According to Brougham, David, and Jarrod Haar raising the living standards have always been a critical point for most people (240). And this is the reason why there is such an urge for betterment. The economy, nevertheless, is one essential factor to consider when working with robots. When you understand your employees and offer better training, then you achieve better productivity. However, on the other side, with robots, you have to program them according to the scenario at hand. There is no need to undergo tedious training sessions. Besides, there is no payout. Therefore, you will achieve your goals at a low price resulting in high profits.

Robots stand the chance of substituting the use of human resources in highly complex tax in the corporate world. Research has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that robots are highly effective on tasks that demand high levels of skills. As such, various scholars have predicted a future in which robots would significantly reduce the levels of manpower needed in different industries to execute tasks that robots can easily tackle (Adams et al. 214). With such improvements, the profit margins of entrepreneurs will be very lucrative hence faster growth of the economy.  It is important to note that robots are complemented with manpower and a rise in the economy would also probe employability rates. In essence, the strategies used by management in using robots would ultimately dictate the employment rate of individuals. Strategic use of robots equals success.

In as much as robots stand a greater chance of slimming down physical working companies, it must never be ignored that they are machines which can be programmed. The programmers are human beings who must decide what kind of output they wish to achieve. When robots are programmed by ill individuals, they can be a complete mess. Human input is critical in ensuring that robots work effectively in predetermined directions. In conclusion, the future of robots solely relies on effective learning of how these machines can be used to benefit human beings while conserving the environment. Only legalized activities should be done using robots.
