I was optimistic that I would finish up with the best athletic record at Fordham University. Obviously, I knew that I had to work hard and I did and became the school team captain. My experiences from a rowing family were certainly caught with surprises, sprinting for nine strokes a minute and maybe seven minutes, which was okay with me. However, the picture of me in stadium tours was not the glory I anticipated.

The only thing I never knew was the constant source of frustration and pain that I would encounter especially with my team. The only reason that I stuck with the sport is my love, and enthusiasm to face challenges in life and the business world.
