A Visit to A Museum
A museum is usually a permanent institution that is community-based and which serves the purpose of conserving, researching, communicating, and also exhibiting both tangible and community heritage. My recent visits to a museum took place on the 18th of last month when my family and I went to the Miami museum for a good time picnic. Many things caught my sight. Such things visually communicated the community's rich cultural heritage in which such valuables were extracted. There, I found Acheulean tools, which I found out that they were used by early man. This implies that museums also conserve the history of humankind through space and time.
The museum had galleries and a collection of animal and plant specimens. As I looked through the windows, I saw some preserved animals that are extinct due to global warnings. Walking through the museum taught me many things that I did not initially know. The experience was quite enjoyable because as we exited, I also made new friends. I cannot forget my new friend Lisa, who offered to buy lunch for me just because she was attracted to the kind of glass goggles that I wore. I will forever live to remember the experience at the Miami Museum.
