How To Write A Good in class essay

With limits and no chance to revise many students find it a challenge to write an in-class essay. So what they do is to take the questions and jump-off points and start to write anything that they could think of, or might even consider. There is no logic to writing your essay in such a manner.  For you to have a good in-class essay, learn to contain and direct your enthusiasms. In-class Essay is not a license to babble it just require reflection and control as you do your writing. Have guidelines that will help you write a good in-class essay

  •  First, read the question carefully and understand as you pick out the salient points. Get to know; the topic that you are being asked to do with this? Discuss? Contrast? Agree/Disagree?
  • Make a few very quick notes in answer to the question or in response to the topic that you have at hand.
  •  Analyze the ideas that you have and ask yourself which ones directly address the question or essay appropriately. Eliminate any information that you find unnecessary to work with. Write down the outline that will follow down
  • Identify your thesis that your essay will revolve around. You thesis tries to convince the reader that by the end of this in-class essay, you will have convinced the reader of that issue. To prove your thesis, create some points that you will work with. Arrange your points logically to create good meaning.
  •  Now start writing the essay with short introduction. Using a sentence or two introduce the problem that you will address and should relate to your thesis statement.
  •  Briefly specify in your body a brief outline as you give evidence to each assertion. Ensure that you demonstrated an ability to support you thesis for it to be meaningful.
  •  Always try to leave yourself a few minutes at the end to look over your essays. They won’t be perfect. To have clear, logical, and easy to read in-class essay.
  • Writing an in-class essay is not very difficult with any other essay only that in class you have limited time and no time to make preview. Your creativity is limited hence not being able to display your creativity promptly.
