Gather all your syllabi from each class, go through them, and list down each required reading, due dates, group or individual projects and exams on your planner. This will keep you at ease and you will not have to be worried about missing an assignment, what chapter to read or due dates.  2. Have a folder and a notebook for every class

Get a notebook and a folder of your choice. This will help you carry a lighter load across campus as well as a more organized approach to revisiting, collecting, and turning in drafts, assignments, and essays throughout. Carry a notebook for note taking, a folder with the class title and your textbook. Practice this for all your classes because it will help you know where things are and what you actually need for the day. This will help you keep your life as a student organized.

 3. Make a list of your professors office hours and contact information

In addition, you can reach out to your professor in case of an extension request, late assignment or class related question. Write down the contacts on one place so that it is easy to find them.

 4. Check your college system to update your personal planner

Check online resources or information centers that your professor uses. Some lecturers use Blackboard and will often upload everything from your assignments to your syllabus there. In addition, most professors will require you to submit your assignments via blackboard. Make sure to always check the blackboard and update your planner with those dates.
